Jessica has spent more than 17 years as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, including work in Level 1 trauma hospitals, and currently practices at Durango Mercy Regional Hospital. Her professional background has given her deep knowledge of movement, recovery, function, and individualized care.

Dogs have been a central part of her life for more than two decades. She is not only a dedicated dog owner, but also an accomplished competitor in the national dog world. Jessica has competed at prestigious events including Westminster and AKC Nationals, where she won Best Bred-By at AKC Nationals two years in a row and also earned placement at Westminster. Beyond conformation, Jessica is actively involved in a wide range of dog sports, including herding, AKC Scent Work, Barn Hunt, and Fast CAT. Her experience working with high-drive, athletic, and performance dogs gives her a strong understanding of canine movement, conditioning, and the physical demands placed on active dogs.

Jessica’s broader background also reflects her active, adventure-oriented lifestyle. She is a global traveler and former mountain bike racer, experiences that have shaped her appreciation for endurance, biomechanics, recovery, and the connection between movement and wellbeing.
